Professional Crappie Anglers United

I recently heard about Professional Crappie Anglers United from my friend Charlie Bunting at the 2022 Grizzly Jig Spring Tackle Show. When Mr. Bunting told me about PCAU, it was in its infancy and ideas were still circulating. Since then, I have spoken to both Mr. Bunting and Craig Nichols about PCAU, what it’s about, including benefits, and more.

Professional Crappie Anglers United was founded to provide crappie anglers a unified voice in the growth and development of professional crappie fishing. The PCAU creates a pathway to develop career opportunities to educate and unite anglers, sponsors, and sportsmen on conservation, integrity, and professionalism for all future generations.​ The question I asked both Mr. Bunting and Mr. Nichols was whether membership is open to anyone or is it specifically designed for tournament anglers? The PCAU was designed to give both the everyday fisherman and tournament anglers the opportunity to elevate the fishing industry by educating professionalism, conservation, and networking opportunities.
